This community was created to have a place where reviews of Kitchen Witch books can be kept together. This can include, but is not limited to, gardening books, herb books, spell books, etc. All members are welcome, and encouraged, to contribute reviews, however, there is a form that must be adhered to. Any entries that do not adhere to this form will not be posted.

Comments on posts are also encouraged. The more opinions and discussion we can get on each book, the more helpful this community will be. And that is what it is all about.

This community is fully moderated and will probably stay that way.

This is not the community for individual spells, recipes, herbal knowledge, etc. There is nothing wrong with that type of post, in the correct forum. There are lots of groups out there for that. This group is for BOOK REVIEWS of books that contain spells, recipes, herbal knowledge, etc. Please remember this when posting to this group.

------------------------------------------------------

The form for book reviews is as follows:

TITLE (included in Title of post and as a header to post)
AUTHOR (included in Title of post and as a header to post)

ISBN
Publisher(s)

Short synopsis of content

Reviewers opinion of book: writing style, what was included and shouldn't have been, what was left out and should have been included, religious slant of author, etc.

------------------------------------------------------

This still leaves a lot of room for personal style, IMO. The reason I want all posts to be uniform and in this form is because I want this to be a very searcher friendly community. I want people to be able to look up the individual books and/or authors easily.

My goal is to post one review a month. This is to give members time to comment on their own experiences with the book and get more than one opinion. If other members wish to post book reviews as well, please, please, PLEASE do so. I don't own near enough books. I need more, more I say. *maniacal laugh* Ahem... So, please share your opinions on books that are reviewed and post your own reviews. The more the merrier!!

At first, I was trying to do one book a week. But, well.... I've run out of books that I own. So, now, I'm doing my best to do one a month. Please, if you have books that seem to be similar to the ones already reviewed, I would love to see more reviews/recommendations by other members.

If you have suggestions and/or comments that could help make this community more enjoyable for everyone, please feel free to email me, the maintainer.

Any and all content of posts is totally up to me, the maintainer. If I don't think you have adhered to my preferred form, I will ask you to rewrite the part of the review that doesn't work. There will rarely, if ever, be any posts which are not book reviews. If you don't like this, don't join. Plain and simple.

That said, I hope you enjoy your stay.
